The development of interactive grammatical competence among ELE learners in Iraq

Abstract

The didactics proposed in the ELE teaching classroom in Iraq have strategies that require a renewal in terms of dynamism and creativity aimed at the development of grammatical skills through the playfulness and creativity that interactive games possess. Indeed, the interactive game as a strategy to achieve learning dates back to primitive times of man and is of utmost importance in social and cultural consolidation due to the dialogue that must be used, the organization through rules or agreements.

This article shows the results of the application of a documentary analysis in which it was identified that the methodological instruments used for teaching grammatical skills in the ELE classroom in Iraq must be in accordance with proposals that motivate and guarantee learning of Spanish from the internalization and application of grammatical skills in a playful and versatile way as proposed in interactive games.

Finally, interactive games account for the learning process and the strengthening of the grammatical skills, both phonic and graphic, of the learner. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that Iraqi students have educational proposals such as interactive games in the ELE classroom to achieve learning objectives.
