Abstract

This research deals with (  Official Gazette of the Ottoman state " Takvim-i Vekayi " the source for the study of the evolution of the administrative divisions in Syria from 1908 to 1918 AD) study of developments in the administrative units in the vilayet of  Syria , Aleppo and Liwa Deir al-Zour , depending on the Official Gazette of the Ottoman government , namely, ( Takvim-i Vekayi ) . The official gazette of the Ottoman Empire ( Takvim-i Vekayi ) essential source for tracking the developments that took place at the administrative units in the Ottoman state , including the administrative units in the vilayet of  Syria , Aleppo and liwa Deir al-Zour, as contained decisions or Sunni wills issued by the Ottoman government on administrative The development disengagement and transport and the cancellation and change borders and switch names and administrative units, this newspaper was right the first source and final in this aspect , especially in confined period between 1908 - 1918 m.

It has occurred in the administrative units in the vilayet of Syria , Aleppo and liwa Deir al-Zour , many administrative changes from the development , transfer and decoding link and change the borders and lifting administrative degree and this is due to several , including political , economic , geographic and social factors
