The research deals with the phenomenon of morphological parallelism in the poetry of the Iraqi poet Muhammad Redha Al-Shabibi, using "A Poem in Iraq" as a model. Parallelism is one of the phenomena that has distinguished Arabic poetry, both ancient and modern. Language represents the core of poetry and is a means of communication between the sender and the recipient, in addition to its aesthetic function resulting from several phenomena, including the phenomenon of parallelism. The poetic text is based on a set of linguistic selections with interconnected relationships. The sounds, forms, and structures in the poetic verse are neither spontaneous nor arbitrary. The research dealt with the concept of parallelism and its most important forms, which are represented by vertical parallelism, horizontal parallelism represented by the monophthong and hemistich, then morphological parallelism and its most important types and what appears of it in the poem under study, such as parallelism between verbs, parallelism between nouns, parallelism between sources, parallelism between plurals, parallelism in morphological structures, and others. The nature of the research required that the method adopted be descriptive and analytical. The research relied on a group of sources, foremost among which were the poet's collection of poems, Lisan al-Arab, the book of similarities and differences, and others
