Foresight discourses in Nahj al-Balagha represent one of the most prominent intellectual manifestations reflecting a profound political awareness of the future of the Muslim nation and its major transformations. Foresight discourse combines a visionary outlook with a directive dimension, laying the foundations for just governance and a political system rooted in divine values. This study aims to analyze the foresight structure within the political texts of Imam Ali (peace be upon him), in order to uncover its role in establishing political principles that pave the way for the just state anticipated in the era of Imam al-Mahdi’s (may God hasten his reappearance) advent. The research relies on discourse analysis methodologies to explore the mechanisms of political guidance embedded in these texts. It also highlights how such discourses contribute to shaping a timeless, mission-driven political project. The significance of this study lies in linking Imam Ali’s foresight discourse to the foundational political vision of the awaited Mahdist era
