The study recommends adopting integrated policies for natural resource management, implementing desertification control programs, protecting agricultural lands from encroachment, and restoring marshlands to ensure the sustainability of biodiversity. It also emphasizes the importance of developing updated spatio-temporal geographic databases to support environmental and urban decision-making, and to achieve a balance between economic development and environmental preservation.
