Employing Artificial intelligence Techniques among Mobile Journalism Practitioners When Covering Daily Events, a Field Study on a Journalist in Wasit Governorate

The technological development that the world witnessed, after the Fourth Industrial Revolution, opened the door for major companies and media platforms in the world to move towards investing in artificial intelligence technology, and employing it in the field of digital media for various opinions, ideas and daily events, as media institutions and news agencies, such as Reuters and Bloomberg, were able to use journalistic robots that rely on artificial intelligence technology in the broadcasting and preparation of various news reports.
The problem of the current study was identified by answering the main question: What is the extent of employing artificial intelligence techniques among mobile journalism practitioners when covering daily events?
The importance of our study lies in the fact that it touches on one of the modern sciences, which is artificial intelligence. Today, it contributes to finding solutions for many intractable problems, and helps people in doing business through the use of new techniques and methods in collecting and storing data that depends on the computer that implements specific algorithms for it. The research seeks the extent to which artificial intelligence techniques are employed when practicing mobile journalism, especially in the completion of media coverage of daily news and events. 40 journalists) working in different media institutions. The study relied on the use of the descriptive survey method by targeting a number of journalists in Wasit Governorate, according to the sample chosen and determined by the researchers, which consisted of (40 journalists) working in different media institutions.
The research draws several conclusions, the most important of which is that artificial intelligence techniques help journalists to carry out their professional duties by facing the problems presented and providing solutions to them, and that artificial intelligence helps journalists to prepare and manufacture distinct media contents that keep pace with modern developments, as well as that artificial intelligence and through the use of mobile phones contributes to the acquisition of digital skills by journalists and the completion of difficult news reports and coverage.
