Abstract

Abstract

The modern Hebrew poetry in the late 18th century witnessed a clear development interims of language and prosody . The modern Hebrew poetry has gone through three eras , enlightenment era , where the writers called for need to urbanize and be benefit from the sciences of the west to eliminate intellectual isolationism and the period of nationalism that characterized the call of writers to find national homeland to protect them . the advent of contemporary Zionism era.

                These movements have had clear impact on the idea of Jewish writers. Some of them have adopted ,the ideas of Zionism and some of  them have adopted the ideas of

enlightenment . both have a clear impact on the European literary doctrines , as well as in their purpose and their images hence our research to causes on highlighting the fourteenth passage "sonnet" which influenced the modern Hebrew poetry therefore the researcher divided his research into three sections .
