Abstract

This research, which I have titled "The Multiplicity of Morphological Analysis of Verses Related to the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them): Its Causes and Locations," seeks to explain the reasons for the multiplicity of morphological analysis that have led scholars to differ among themselves, such as their disagreement on the weight of a word, its root, the origin of its weak letter, or their disagreement on gender, or due to the multiplicity of Quranic readings or the multiplicity of tribal dialects. It also seeks to identify the locations of this multiplicity in these verses. The blessed one; In order to uncover the morphological forms contained in these verses that carry more than one meaning unless they appear in a clear and explicit context, this study examines the multiplicity of meanings within a single form, such as the form (faʿīl), which sometimes indicates exaggeration, and at other times indicates agency, passivity, permanence, stability, or infinitiveness. It also examines the forms (faʿīlah), (faʿūl), and (fuʿūl), which may have multiple meanings, just as (faʿīl) does. This study aims to demonstrate the importance of these The blessed verses – as a text – in the linguistic lesson in general, and the morphological lesson in particular, because of the many morphological issues they contain, relying in this study on the descriptive analytical approach.
