Abstract

We discuss in this paper contract of fire insurance by two chapter, the first chapter will dedicate to the concept of fire insurance  and the main characteristics of that contract; in the second chapter we will discuss the legal rules of fire insurance by detailed the obligations  of  both insurer and policymaker.

Iraqi legislature didn’t define contract of fire insurance but some of jurists defined it as a" contract by whom the insurer pledge to compensate damage cause by fire in certain circumstances according to specifications of the contact and limited to the insurance premium each payments from policymaker according to the percentage of the given perils
