تهدف الدراسة التعرف على واقع اتجاه في مؤشرات الرطوبة النسبية وبيان أثرها على عدد المصابين بأمراض الانفلاونزا وذات الرئة في محافظة واسط، من خلال معرفة اتجاه العام للرطوبة النسبية من خلال الاعتماد على سلسلة من البيانات الاحصائية للمحطات ( الحي_ الكوت_ بدرة_ العزيزية)، وبيان أثرها على أمراض الانفلاونزا وذات الرئة لجميع أقضية محافظة واسط، من خلال الاعتماد على الاحصائية ما بين الرطوبة النسبية وأمراض باستخدام برنامج spss . وقد أظهرت الدراسة أنّ اتجاه العام لمعدل الرطوبة النسبية يتجه نحو الانخفاض في جميع محطات منطقة الدراسة فهو خير دليل بإنذار الواضح لظاهرة الجفاف مستقبلا في محافظة واسط.
