Abstract

   Declamation is an important type of speech art.it aims to persuade and control auditors mind and to affect them to accept or refuse a specific matter

  Declamation is an important tool of communication because it relates to prayer of muslims , specially the holy Friday prayer which declamation is considered an important part of it .In addition ,declamation is a direct communication with people . The speaker stands face to face upon the people to explain his ideas with gestures and expressions to control on people emotion for desirous and conviction.

    Declamation played a vital role in the second  abbasian era - which this study concentrates on – Abbasian caliphs used declamation for specific aims, such a inspiring people for jihad and also to increase their enthusiasm to defend Baghdad and protect people from the danger of enemies or the risk of floods .

  The declamation by the caliph himself which was a direct communication that greatly affect people zeal to response the caliphs orders and support him as a leader of the nation
