Transgressions in the city of Al-Azizia and their impact on the service reality

Abstract

The research aims to shed light on the violations occurring in the basic design in the city of Aziziyah and their impact on the service reality, as any defect that appears in the uses of the land allocated within the design creates a problem within the basic design, including violations of residential lands and green areas, Violating the design is a violation of the prestige of the system, and this action results in major problems that distort the aesthetics of the urban appearance and threaten the level of services in the study area. Although this problem is widespread in the neighborhoods of the city of Al-Aziziya, there is a large difference in the size and type of violation between one neighborhood and another in the city. We notice from municipal department data and the field study an increase in the type and size of violations in the city. Therefore, light must be shed on the problem of violations and their causes, their classification, types and characteristics, their geographical distribution, and their impact on the city’s internal structure.
