The Interactive Facebook novel is a kind of digital novel written and produced on a computer. Readers interact with the writer directly via social media platforms, specifically Facebook. This novel is not presented in its entirety to the audience, rather it is developed continuously and gradually because its subject in parts or in some of its details to the opinions and ideas of the audience. The audience in this case may intervene to change the course of some of its secondary outlines.
This novel differs from other digital electronic novels in that it does not incorporate or integrate digital technologies into the production of its meanings. Rather, it merely uploads its parts to the device, and interaction then occurs between the parties involved in the creative process.
However, it differs from the traditional novel printed on paper and downloaded to a computer, as these novels have no connection to the device other than their storage or preservation for reading.
