The impact of the days of the Arabs on Islamic history until the fourth century AH

Abstract

The days of the Arabs in the pre-Islamic era and their impact or extension to the days of the Islamic era and to the fourth century AH in particular and the changes or adoption that occurred to them over the first four centuries of Islam are considered important matters in Islamic history across the Islamic eras (the beginning of Islam, the Umayyad era, and the Abbasid era), and our goal in this research is to read what was happening in the pre-Islamic era of events, foremost of which are their days, conflicts and various incidents that filled Islamic literature and history. Here we must ask why were those days? And why those tribal conflicts that included many tragedies, calamities, bloodshed, revenge and mutual fighting that continued for many years, so does the mind accept that those conflicts were over authority, water, pasture, revenge, public good or something like that..? And was the extension of the days in Islam the same meaning and content as the pre-Islamic era, and the extent of the impact of the days of the Arabs in Islamic history, and did the days in Islam remain as they were in the pre-Islamic era, or did deletion, addition, correction and refinement enter into them? The answer to this question is as follows: When bad values, national and ethnic sentiments, and the accompanying ignorance prevail, we find those bad, absurd, and unjust days prevailing in society. However, when the Islamic call began with its divine values ​​and Quranic teachings, the (days) became a defensive human condition against injustice, tyranny, polytheism, and hypocrisy. It built society on a divine foundation that is rarely seen in the world. The method followed in this research is a historical, analytical, and descriptive method that reveals the reality of the pre-Islamic conflicts that Islam later denied and transformed the hostile offensive days into divine defensive days of raids and conquests. When the Umayyad era came, the days of the Arabs returned with their details until its fall and the coming of the Abbasids, during which the (days) fluctuated between ascent and descent and between advance and retreat according to the moods of the rulers, historians, and writers, so they increased and decreased, added and truncated, and did not follow the path of the Messenger of God (PBUH)...
