This study examines the establishment and historical development of the Municipality of Kut, highlighting key figures who led the municipality during the late Ottoman period, the British occupation, and the monarchical era. It also explores major projects that contributed to the city's expansion and urban development. The research underscores the significant role played by the Municipality of Kut in shaping the city's infrastructure through strategic planning. This included paving and lighting streets, implementing sewage and water supply projects, and extending clean water to most neighborhoods.
