This research, titled "Arab Media Institutions in the Age of Algorithms," analyzes the attitudes of Arab journalists toward the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, focusing on the readiness of media institutions and the challenges they face. A survey methodology was employed, involving 294 journalists. The results revealed that 63.3% of media institutions have an average level of readiness to adopt these technologies, while 33.7% have a high level of readiness. The study also found that 50.3% of journalists use AI technologies moderately, indicating a relatively high readiness to adopt these tools. The findings highlighted the importance of providing training centers for journalists and increasing budgets to develop these technologies, as well as addressing the ethical and professional challenges associated with using AI, such as maintaining professional standards and integrity. The study demonstrated a positive correlation between the level of AI usage and journalists' satisfaction with the performance of their institutions, suggesting that the use of these technologies can contribute to improving journalistic efficiency. The research emphasizes the importance of AI as a supportive tool that fosters innovation in the media field, while also underlining the need to address the challenges associated with it to ensure the desired benefits are achieved.
