Empowering Women Through Knowledge: The Thought of Fatimah Al-Zahra (Peace Be Upon Her) as a Model

Abstract

In light of the vast scientific developments that the world has witnessed and that has followed all aspects of life, which is often represented by the mixing of scientific energies and components possessed by men and women alike, we can notice the clear shortcomings that outline the axis of women's interaction in the scientific arena, and if it exists, it is limited to carrying certificates at various levels without practical application. What we need today is to empower women and strengthen them scientifically to keep pace with contemporary societies, because their isolation will cause a great danger in the Islamic society. Other countries and other cultures are trying in every way to give women an important status equal to men and then point the finger to Islam for limiting their development and trying to abolish their role in society. The role of women today is linked to an extent to what society needs from them. Educating women and getting them out of the circle of ignorance is very necessary, because the fate of half of society that they must raise by their own hands, but with great regret we can say that many people do not understand this danger that haunts the future of our generations. In investigating this, we based our research on the thought of Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her.
