Educational services are considered one of the important topics that many researchers in the field of human geography pay great attention to and research, especially with regard to geographical distribution and distribution methods, so this study tried to work on the geographical distribution of educational services in the city's neighborhoods. Chamchamal. This is to identify the extent of distribution of this service among the neighborhoods of the study area's residents and the extent to which it meets the needs of all residents at the neighborhood level now and in the future.
High school includes grades (10, 11, 12). It is considered one of the most important periods in the life of any student. Because it falls at the age of (16-18) years, which is a very sensitive and important age in the life of every person, and at this educational stage the beginning of the student's future path is determined by choosing the specialization (literary or scientific). This stage will affect the future of students, so this educational stage must be given great attention, and this study relies on data and information from the General Directorate of Education in Chamchamal. Geographic information systems were also used to analyze the location of these services on the basic map of the study area. On the other hand, using planning criteria, the ability to provide this service was evaluated against the criteria specified in Iraqi planning. Descriptive, statistical, analytical and quantitative methods were also used in the study.
