Abstract

The research is entitled (The Role of Art Lessons on the Development of Critical Thinking Skills in Students from the Perspective of Teachers). The aim of the research is to determine the role of art lessons in developing the critical thinking skills of students. This research is done from the perspective of the teachers of the fine art institutes in Halabja and Chamchamal. The number of participants is 28 teachers of both genders, which is one group for the academic year (2023-2024). The research used psychomotor features, and the researcher used the analytical method, so the Wilk and Shapiro tests were used to determine the division of the research's data. To find out the result of the research, a parametric test is used. According to the result, the perspective of the teachers associated with the role of art lessons in developing critical thinking skills is positive and great. Since art education has a great role in developing the capability of innovation and critical thinking of the students, the importance of the art activities in developing the thinking skills of the students. This is the main aim of the art in educational schools.
