Abstract

The Islamic manuscript heritage is considered one of the most important sources of cultural and religious knowledge in the Islamic world, and women have played a pivotal role in preserving and achieving it. Witness to this is the intellectual academic efforts presented by Professor Nabila Abdel Moneim Daoud that contribute to preserving the Islamic manuscript heritage. She used a methodology to verify texts through... Collecting copies, documenting the author and title, then interviewing, and these principles helped document the texts and ensure their accuracy.

Professor Nabila has contributed to organizing the Islamic manuscript heritage in a way that makes it easily accessible to researchers. She has highlighted her role in spreading awareness about the manuscript Islamic heritage through workshops, lectures, conferences, and investigations, and this has been a catalyst for men and women to engage in this field.                                                                                              What Professor Nabila presented reflects to us the role of women in preserving the Islamic manuscript heritage. It also shows us that women have a major role in all scientific and human sciences, and that the professor’s work contributes to providing a comprehensive overview of how to preserve cultural heritage and embodies the effective role that women can play in Areas of research and studies Her methodological approach represents an invitation to other women to enter the field of scientific research and Islamic heritage so that the largest number of women can contribute to working in the field of preserving Islamic heritage. This matter calls for the support of some research institutions interested in heritage to support women to achieve their goals.
