DADALOĞLU'NUN ŞİİRLERİNDE AŞIK EDEBİYATI NAZIM BİÇİMLERİ

Abstract

    Dadaloğlu is considered one of the important lover of Turkish popular literature. Although the date of his birth and death is not known, he was born in the end of the eighteenth century depeding on some inferences that we concluded from his poetry. He died in the middle of the nineteenth century. Dadaloğlu, born in Kayseri, is considered one of the loyal and brave poets who were brought up among the Turkish people. He belongs to the ancestry of Boguz people, who were the ancestors of the Turks who migrated to what it is known geographically today as Turkey. He lived in the middle Anadoulo and died in Kırşehir Province. His grave is Kaman town that belongs to Kırşehir.Turkish literature witnessed several stages with the passage of time. It becomes stronger due to the literary role of Turkish people. Chanting literature is the type of literature that became one of great popularity specially by the efforts of great poets who were brought up in Anadoulo. Undoubtedly, Dadaloğlu is considered one the most iportant figure in Ashik literature.Chanting literature, which is one of the branches of popular Turkish literature, is divided into several branches depending on the way it is chanted and its usage. From poetical writing, this type of poetry has four types: Koshma, listening, fasagi, and epic. These four titles are divided into types within itself.The paper classifies Dadaloğlu poems, the great chanting poet, depending on their poetical style of writing as they appear in the poems that we got. After studying every title individualy, we will study in detail the suitable title of Dadaloğlu’s poems under the suitable title.
