Spatial variation of theft crime in the Hayy city over the period

The research aims to know the spatial variation and the numerical and relative distribution of the crime of theft in the city of Al-Hay for the period (2018-2022). The numerical and relative distribution was conducted for all neighborhoods in the city of Al-Hay, which number (24) residential neighborhoods, using the technique of equal-length categories and via the (Arc Map 10.8) program. The numerical and relative distribution was in four categories, and the neighborhood of Saeed, Mahallat al-Arab, and Al-Saray had the highest outcome for committing the crime of theft, and the neighborhoods with the least crime of theft were in the Dilah neighborhood without any theft crime. The study recommended the use of cameras in most areas of the city of the neighborhood, increasing street lighting, and isolating commercial use from residential use.
