Tolerance among members of Iraqi society and its repercussions on national unitySocial analytical study

Abstract

Tolerance is a religious value with overlapping religious, humanitarian, social and political contents that achieve security and comfort at the societal level, In this research, we sought to know the extent of tolerance in society and its impact on national unity. Especially in our society with its natural diversity among members of society who are most vulnerable to temptation and division, We find that Islam has a clear role in activating tolerance towards national unity, as Islam does not deny the reality of diversity and differences among individuals, while emphasizing the establishment of justice and equality and emphasizing love of the homeland. In our research, we relied on the descriptive approach, based on some noble hadiths of the Prophet and Qur’anic verses.
