Abstract

The current research aimed to know the relationship between thinking based on wisdom and dogmatism and social conformity among primary school teachers, and know the level of each of these variables they have, and the research sample consisted of (80) teachers by (40) males and (40) females of workers in government primary schools day affiliated to the Directorate of Education Wasit, and for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the research gols used three tools for measurement: The first to measure thinking based on wisdom, as the researcher adopted a scale (Ardelt, 2003) and consists of (34) items, and the second to measure dogmatism prepared by the researcher consisting of (50) items, and the third tool to measure social conformity consists of (47) items , which is prepared by the researcher also and the researcher used a number of statistical means through the program (SPSS) was the most important test (t-test) For one sample and the(T-test) for two independent samples and Pearson's correlation coefficient, the research reached several results, the most important of which are: the lack of a correlation between wisdom-based thinking and both dogmatism and social conformity among teachers, and the possession of members of the sample thinking based on wisdom, as well as their possession of social conformity, while they did not appear to have dogmatism , and in light of the results the researcher developed some recommendations and suggestions .
