qi Satellite Channels in Shaping Youth Attitudes Towards Public Mobilization Forces (PMF)

The research aimed at determining the nature of the attitudes formed among the Iraqi youth towards the Public Mobilization according of the role of religious discourse on Iraqi satellite channels and its impact on young people (Research Sample) that prompted the researcher to formulate the problem of the research with a main question: What is the nature of the role played by religious discourse on Iraqi satellite channels in shaping the attitudes of Iraqi youth towards the Public Mobilization? As well as setting hypotheses derived from the theory of prioritization.
The research is also descriptive, based on the survey method of surveying the audience of young people, who were (18-30 years) and they reached (420) respondents as a sample, they were distributed equally among three governorates (Baghdad, Basrah and Nineveh), with (140) respondents per Governorate, researcher applied a test of validity and reliability on the research tools before adopting them in the measurement and then the tools obtained those grades that qualify them in terms of correlation coefficients to measure the studied phenomenon and the tools are the questionnaire, and the five-point scale, as well as the research ended with a set of results as the following:
- There are significant differences in the patterns and hours of exposure to Iraqi satellite channels among Iraqi youth in the Iraqi Governorates (Research Community).
- Al-Iraqiya Channel Public Channel obtained the first score and Afaq obtained the second score as favorite channels for Iraqi youth to follow the issues of the Public Mobilization through their religious discourse.
- Iraqi youth's confidence in the religious discourse on Iraqi satellite channels in terms of the test (Ka²) and its reflection on the formation of their positive attitude towards Public Mobilization.
- The homogeneity of the answers of the Iraqi youth regarding the agreement of the Iraqi youth on the treatment of the religious discourse of the topics of the popular mobilization in the Iraqi channels, as indicated by the recording of the arithmetic averages with higher values than the standard deviations.
- Checking the hypotheses and the correlations’ significance according to the (T-Test) .
