The Aesthetics of Islamic Sculpture in The Umayyad Era

The aesthetics of Islamic sculpture during the time of the Umayyads were the subject of the present research. Throughout the process of selecting the two sample models, a total of two models were considered. The results of the study indicate that the most significant factor, which is the aesthetic appearances that are not accomplished through the domain of the senses, is the most important factor. However, they are attained by ambition and longing for the aim of truth in order to arrive at inference through mental knowledge following the elevation and transcendence of the realm of perceptible things to the world of essence and conclusions. The most essential of them is the fact that the concept of alteration is predicated on departing from the realm of tangible materials and progressing to the stage of taste and feeling, in addition to making recommendations and offering suggestions.
