This study deals with the retailment of two captive crusaders, Baldwin de Burg, and Joscelin de Courtenay, who were captivated imprisoned during the Battle of Harran (1102 A.D /497 A.H) which took place between Muslims and the Crusaders .The study focuses on the details of this captivity within the writings of the two historians: Anon. Syrian chronicler who represents the view of the Assyrians of the Crusades and, on other side, Ibn Al –Athir(D.630 A.H/1232 A.D) representing the Islamic side about this event.The narrations provided by these two historians were the most detailed tha writings that deals with the period of Crusades. The Anon. Syrian chronicler, whom we know little About, him . may be a religion man who was an eye witness during the events (583-635A.H/1187-1237 A.D) and provided details about these two Captives.
