The Attitude of Students of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology towards Electronic Exams and its Relationship to Academic Achievement

Abstract

The current paper aims at clarifying students’ attitudes toward Computer Science College and informational technology toward online exams. Their relationships to academic achievements identifying the concepts of online exams, their types, features, advantages and disadvantages. The research employs a descriptive and analytical methods at studying variables, phenomena, and the practices of online exams. Moreover, the study deals with such types of exams by using descriptive and analytical methods to avoid bias in the results and findings. The sample of the study consists of (236) students (Male / female) (and 116) students are brought from Software dept. (Second year). (120) students are brought from Computer science dept. (first year) for academic year 2021-2022. The sample of the study includes also 149 students, of them (68) males and (81) females. The researcher has designed an experimental test consists of three types of cognitive test to measure the required, knowledge on the part of students. Also the researcher designed question air to identify Student's attitude the question air consists of (22) items designed to distill the value of Stabilizer Coefficient Via finding Alfa value by reserving to Cornbrash's Alfa which it Alfa which its value (0.77). Nonetheless, the value is acceptable because it is higher than (0.69) Also, the researcher converts 22 items of questionnaire into Software Copy and sent it to student via telegram. The study extracts the statistical indication for question air by using (SPSS) for Social Science to reach findings and results. Finally, the research ends up with a recommendation for further studies.
