Role Conflict and its Relationship to the Quality of life of Working Women A Field Study in the Kurdistan Region / Iraq

This research aims to investigate the relationship of role conflict with the quality of life of working women in the Kurdistan Region / Iraq by answering the research questions represented by knowing the levels of conflict and levels of quality of life as well as knowing the areas of role conflict and the quality of life and the nature of the relationship between them. The researcher relied on the descriptive analytical approach to obtain the answers to the research questions. The size of the research sample was (299) units, targetting the age group 20 + years old married female workers in the cities (Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, and Dohuk). The scale of the conflict of roles on (40) items with four dimensions (her role as a: worker, mother, housewife, wife). The quality of life scale consists of (42) items, with (emotional living, material living, health care, family relations, social relations, and how to spend leisure time) dimensions. The alternatives for both scales were triple (it always applies to me - sometimes applies to me - never applies to me). The two tools have been published electronically via (Google Forms) due to the outbreak of Coronavirus. One of the most important findings of the research is the rejection of the null hypothesis H0 and its meaning (there is no relationship between the conflict of roles and the quality of life of working women in the Kurdistan Region / Iraq) and the acceptance of the research hypothesis.
