The research aims to identify :
- Spatial reasoning of fifth preparatory stage students .
2.significance of differences in Spatial reasoning according to the variable of sex (males, females) and specialty (scientific, literary) .
To achieve the aims, of this research, the researcher has adopted the test of mental rotation of (Ali,2016) To measure spatial reasoning, The two tool were applied on the sample of statistical analysis which includes (215) male and female students, After verifying the validity of the two tool through validity and stability indicators, the researcher has applied the two tool on a sample Which includes (348) male and female students ,after collecting data and processing them statistically by using T. test for one sample ,and T. test for two samples, analysis of variance, and Kais square, and Pearson correlation coefficient.
The researcher has reached to the following results :
- The Primary stage students have the ability of Spatial reasoning .
- There is difference in the Spatial reasoning according to the variable of sex (males, females) for the benefit specialty of female students and there is a difference according to the variable of specialty (scientific, literary) for the benefit of scientific specialty.
In the light of the results which the researcher has reached to and as a completion of the research, the researcher has recommended some recommendations and suggestions for further researches
