Abstract

 

      The Neo-Babylonian period (612-539) B.C., one of the bright ages in the history of ancient Iraq. Its kings left many building inscriptions wrote their achievements in architecture. From this standpoint, the research came to highlights the Architecture terms in Neo-Babylonian Inscriptions, enriched with examples to gain an understanding of meanings. The research was divided into sections dealt with: The foundations and schemes, fences and walls, gates and doors, roofs, roads and pathways, directions, places, temples and shrines, buildings materials, work procedures, and architects, finally: damages and disappearance.
