The purpose of this research is to uncover the relationship between Iraqi satellite TV channels and the development of the culture of illegal migration among university youth, and the extent to which these channels contribute to the formation of negative or positive images of migration abroad, as well as to prove the validity of the hypotheses developed by the researcher to detect the existence or absence of a relationship Between the intensity of watching Iraqi satellite channels and developing the culture of illegal migration. research was based on the field survey methodology. The questionnaire was used as a data collection tool and distributed to a sample of university students. The sample size was 100 males and females. The research reached a number of results, the most important of which are:

1- Iraqi satellite channels constitute an important and effective tool in sensitizing and educating public opinion about the implications of the phenomenon of migration and its impact on the individual and society alike.
2- Al Sharqiya channel ranked first among the Iraqi channels most influential in the development of immigration culture by (45%), followed by Alsumaria channel (27.5%)
3 - These results indicate that some media are the main instigator of youth to illegal immigration, as they broadcast their toxins through their space platforms and demand young people who suffer from the ravages of poverty, unemployment, hunger and injustice imposed upon them to leave the country and immigration to escape the bitter reality that most Iraqi people suffer from. .
