Abstract

The Sabbath chapter is one of the important chapters in the Talmudic book, which deals with the laws and rules necessary to observe the rest day, and the importance of separating the Sabbath and the proverbs that were mentioned in them which  varied between religious Significance and  preaching and advice and was characterized by short and injury meaning, which is a pure honest reflection that spontaneously reflects of many people's natures.

It is known that each people have its own examples, but many find that there are similarities with other people like him.

The aim of the study was to high light the similarities and differences between the Talmudie proverbs and Arabic proverbs.

The Arab ideal has been in fluenced by the Talmudic ideals in general.
