Geographical distribution and economic and social characteristics of the illiterate population in the Districts of Al-Rusafa and Al-Mada'in

Summary:

The Illiteracy phenomenon addressed by many specialists in the field of population geography and sociology in terms of distribution, causes and effects, in this research we will study from a geographical perspective where the study included three chapters.

The chapter one: Addressing the geographical distribution of illiterates in Baghdad governorate and according to the areas for 2013 This distribution was based on the poverty map data and maternal mortality for 2013 to show the nature of the distribution of this phenomenon spatially using statistical and cartographic distribution indicators.

 The study also dealt with the distribution of the phenomenon in the study areas (Rusafa and Medina districts) for the years 1997 and 2013

The chapter tow: This section was based on the results of the field study for 2015, which showed the characteristics of the illiterate population in the counties of the tow district for the Study area( Rusafa and Madain)
