Legal regulation of cyber security for children

Abstract

Summary

Child online safety represent contemporary complicated dilemma because on one hand the is no coherent criteria to distinguish between state interest and child interest. On other hand there is difficulties  to monitoring media especially the internet, and the growing number of  Personal Computers users from children make enacted new laws urgent necessity. The PC become and  assistant and  even tutor for the child and that become more complicated with growth of low-cost and high-speed internet for the urban and rural areas. All above lead us to conclude that Iraq Legislature must enacted law for protect Iraqi child and that law should include chapter detailed protect child from harmful data especially from social media which may obstruct their mental and psychological  growth, and that legislation will be positive step to protect our children.
