Abstract

Summery:

Iraq and the city of Baghdad in the nineteenth century to the deadly epidemics such as typhoon, cholera and smallpox, as well as other transitional diseases during the late Ottoman era, which resulted in negative effects that affected the life of the population and their activities in all areas of life and this is due to cultural backwardness and geographical factors and poor services Health, hygiene, etc. The research focused on the nature of the situation of the city of Baghdad in the 19th century, the factors that helped the spread of transitional diseases in the city of Baghdad, and the transitional diseases in the city of Baghdad as well as the measures taken to control the Transitional diseases Iraq in the late Ottoman period.
