Abstract

This research paper addresses the role of the judges inside courts and the officers and legists inside police stations to embody gender indicators through dealing with men and women concerning their rights to defend themselves in front of  law. This is to be done by a gender analyzing for the recorded situations by the active regional and local organizations which work in the field of court's deeds especially inside Kurdistan Region.

The research problem is a question about, how can the private visions and convictions of the judges act on practicing personal status law inside courts and is there any Gender Bias practiced constantly against women?

The researcher used the analytic descriptive method and depended on special issues of the Heartland Alliance Organization which works in the field of human needs and observing human rights inside judicial institutions. She has chosen registered situations from inside Kurdistan Region courts which show certain practices fall under the scope of Gender Bias and Gender Discrimination against women according to gender analysis.

Finally, at the end of her research paper, the researcher proposes a set of suggestions and recommendations for those who work in the field of framing legal and personal texts (justice investigators, associate courts and public prosecutors) besides those who work to fulfill legal procedures inside the courts
