Abstract

The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the collaborative inverted learning strategy on the achievement in the teaching methods course among students of the College of Education. The researcher employed a quasi-experimental design with a post-achievement test. The researcher selected Classroom (B) from the third stage of the College of Education to represent the experimental group, which was taught using the collaborative inverted learning strategy, while Classroom (A) represented the control group, which was taught using the traditional method. The total number of students in both groups was (60), with (30) students in each group. The two groups were equated in terms of variables such as chronological age and intelligence. The researcher developed an achievement test as the research tool, and its validity and reliability were confirmed. An independent samples t-test was used to analyze the data. The results indicated that the experimental group, which was taught according to the collaborative inverted learning strategy, outperformed the control group in achievement. The researcher recommended adopting the collaborative inverted learning strategy in teaching.
