This study aims to analyze the impact of aquatic plants on the deterioration of water quality characteristics in the rivers of the Western Gharraf region by examining the relationship between the density of aquatic plants and selected physical and chemical water quality indicators. The study relied on hydrological and statistical analysis, in addition to laboratory examinations of water samples collected from different locations.
