The Concept of Humanity in Ancient Iraqi Thought

This study examines the concept of humanity in ancient Iraqi thought through the literary, legal, and historical writings left behind by the ancient Iraqis. It seeks to understand their perspective on human beings and their material and moral rights, as well as to determine the extent to which these ideas were implemented in practice or remained merely theoretical. The study highlights that humanitarian concepts in ancient Iraq were closely linked to religion, as the universe and everything within it were believed to function according to divine will.
