This article is classified as a stylistic study that specializes in studying the poetic image through the use of literary devices, metaphor and simile. In this article, we analyze the poetic image in Lorca's lyric poetry in four poems: Oriental Song, Spring Song, Lizard Song and Sevillian Song from the anthology Federico García Lorca for children (1983), he article's goal is to examine the poetic image that it produces through metaphor and simile and clarify its meaning for the reader and researcher.
