يهدف البحث الى تحليل التغيرات المناخية وآثارها في تغير محصول الباقلاء الخضراء في محافظة واسط ، ليظهر آثار تلك التغيرات المناخية العالمية والتي أثرت على تغير العناصر المناخية في محافظة واسط ( منطقة الدراسة)، وتأثيرها على محصول الباقلاء الخضراء، إذ تم الاعتماد على بيانات لأربع محطات مناخية (بغداد – الحلة - الحي- الديوانية)، ولثلاث دورات مناخية صغرى للمدة (1986-2018) .
خلص البحث وجود تغيرات في عناصر المناخ ، وأن هذه التغيرات لها دور في التأثير في الحياة النباتية أثرت في محصول الباقلاء الخضراء في محافظة واسط .
