In this paper, we present an analysis of two literary works from the perspective of the proven advance movements for Arab and Latin American writers in the period of the twenties and two thousand years.
The private life of writer Miguel Angel Asturias was inspired by the production of literary works, as he held a diplomatic position and received the Nobel Prize in Guatemala. He was born and died in Guatemala City (1899-1974).
There is a clear shift in his famous work, Mr. President (1948), who breaks the norm, for a future covered in new ideas.
Language, grammar and sentences were used violently for results serving the community. This work was translated into several languages, and used in cinema and theater, all for social benefit. The novel shows political, economic, and social elements, there is also a lack of mercy and inhumanity evident through the events of the novel, the writer was trying to clarify what was going on during that period. Asturias showed the dictator as a mysterious figure in the depth who does not appear and feel its bad influence on all sides.
Mazen Arafa, a Syrian writer, was born in 1955, and he obtained a degree in arts from the French language department from the University of Damascus, and later obtained a doctorate in humanities, the offices department, From the University of Maria Curie (Lublin-Bologna), his center of residence, from Germany, tried to give readers in his “Granica” production in 2017, a glimpse of what the dictatorship did with the innocent people of Syria who declared the spring uprising, To obtain their legitimate rights to life. The novel consists of three parts: dictatorship, Syrian history during the time of the coup and the uprising. It was published in Beirut and received constructive criticism.
