Preserving historic buildings in Baghdad (problems and solutions)

Baghdad crosses one of the oldest Arab capitals in the world. It has a coherent cultural, archaeological and cultural heritage over the years. The civilization of Babylon and Assyria has occupied the world for centuries, and there are many important historical buildings that are located in Baghdad, including streets, schools, homes, and many civilized witnesses. These witnesses were witness On the era of cultural, intellectual and social renaissance boom, but due to the conditions that the country went through, these buildings were exposed to many problems, including neglect, erosion, and climate conditions, as well as the expansion of the city, and thus the urbanization of the city crept upon it, which affected them and that joy and sophistication is no longer in it Here comes the role of the engineer and the archaeological, artistic and researcher and legislator in order to work to maintain these buildings and rehabilitation and work to re-work out and mix with the pillars of modern buildings, as in the Rashid Street, the school Mustansiriya, mosques and churches scattered here and there.
