Abstract

Part of the beauty of Persian poetry may appear in a variety of rhetorical patterns, so the majority of the great poets have benefited from these different literary styles in their poetry to be more attractive and enjoyable. And when we look at the poetry of Ahmed Shamlou, who is one of the most prominent poets in modern Persian literature, We find that he sought to show his ideas and beliefs with wonderful concepts concentrated in the minds of readers through the use of rhetorical templates in different ways in his poetry, in the manner that is used widely and in the best ways.

In this research I have sought to show these rhetorical templates in the poetry of Shamloo, which express the unstable political, social and cultural conditions of the poet's time accompanied by sadness and compassion. The poet and his contemporaries never felt happy, for this reason, the poet used in his poetry the expressions that are all despair, fatigue and pain through various rhetorical methods.
