This research aims to recognize “the weakness of the student in the department of the Arabic language in the college of education/ university of wassit in the grammar subject, reasons and solutions, From the view of teachers and students”.
The sample of this research consists of teachers and students in that department which numbered (87) students male and female and (5) specialists. As to achieve the aim of this research, the researcher prepared questionnaire includes of (49) item which distributed into six fields (students, teachers, textbook, teaching methods, styles of tests and evaluation, aims). The researcher certified the validity of the questionnaire through displaying its items on a group of experts and specialists in Arabic language and its teaching methodologies. Also indicated the reliability by test-retest which refers to (0.83).
By using the mean and percentage weights. Finally, the researcher finds the reasons and give a number of treatments which might play an important role in solving this problem.
