Abstract

      Some climatic phenomena which accompany rainfall and the increase in the relative humidity  in air together with the decrease in temperature and speed of wind , happen in most stations in Iraq , especially during the cold , rainy season .                                                  

      Such phenomena , despite its bad effect on both humans and plants , yet , they do have positive influence . The present study aims at shedding light upon the direction of repetition of these two phenomena in Hay station and measuring its direction and the reasons behind the variance occurring in the recent decades .                                                    The problem of the present study is represented in the followingquestion :                                                                                   Are the phenomena of fog and frost in Hay station happening in                the same percentages and direction ? or  they are varying towards increasing and decreasing ? The study has come up with the conclusion that there has been a direction towards decreasing in recording these two phenomena to become rare
