"Constructing a Binary Thinking Scale for Educational Counselors and Its Relationship with Time Management to Support Students"

Abstract

The topics of dual thinking (binary thinking) and counseling have received considerable attention from researchers in cognitive psychology, as they are closely connected to contemporary psychological and social changes. This study aims to develop a dual thinking scale and a time management scale for educational counselors, as well as to identify the dimensions of dual thinking and their relationship with time management. The research assumes statistically significant differences between the dimensions of dual thinking and time management. The findings indicate the successful development of both scales and reveal a positive correlation between dual thinking and time management. The study recommends adopting these dimensions, designing training programs, and strengthening counseling practices in Iraqi schools.
