The research addresses a critique of the social perspective on loss, particularly in the context of wars and conflicts. It calls for abandoning the culture of revenge and retaliation and focusing on rebuilding society. It indicates that this ancient tendency is no longer appropriate for the modern age and highlights the importance of women's role in preserving society. Despite the noble nature of this vision, practical application may be difficult in societies suffering from long-term conflicts. The text calls for behavioral change that goes beyond revenge to positive action, emphasizing that revenge will not bring back the missing but will lead to further devastation. It also addresses the impact of literature on educated women, as it constitutes a means of expressing loss and overcoming difficulties. The aesthetics of thought are evident in their ability to explore experiences of loss through reading and writing, which helps them shape their identity. The literary character in the text reflects deep thought and critique of prevailing ideas. She prefers literature that expresses strength and profound thought, and considers death another form of life, demonstrating her intellectual maturity. The text then takes up the theme of the duality of life and death in literature and philosophical thought, where life is viewed as an opportunity for change and growth, while death is seen as an end or a major transformation. Death is used as a symbol of societal challenges, and the palm tree stands out as a symbol of steadfastness and dignity in the face of social transformations. The text expresses concern about the decline of values in contemporary societies. The dialogue between Faisal and Zahra expresses the deterioration of values due to the shift toward fleeting pleasures, such as drugs, and the neglect of cultural heritage, such as palm trees. It also addresses the issue of revolution in the age of globalization, where revolutions are seen as the product of social and political chaos that seeks change but faces challenges due to external factors. The text points to the impasse that can occur when social forces fail to achieve the desired change. Revolution reveals new complexities in the context of globalization and can lead to chaos and deviation rather than achieving the desired goals. The text presents a critical vision of revolutionary change, arguing that revolution can be destructive and more dangerous than constructive, highlighting the need for peaceful methods for change.
