Quranic Ethics in the Biography of Lady Fatima Al-Zahra, peace be upon her

Abstract

This research explores aspects of the life and biography of Fatimah al-Zahra (peace be upon her) and her practical embodiment of the ethics advocated by the Holy Qur’an in its various verses. She (peace be upon her) stands as a true example of these values within her noble household, exemplifying the sincere call to Allah as commanded by the Prophet (peace be upon him). This aligns with the saying of Imam Al-Sadiq (peace be upon him): “Be silent callers to us” emphasizing that actions serve as a more profound invitation to truth than mere words. The purpose of highlighting her blessed life is to introduce Muslims in general, and believers in particular, to this pure and revered figure. Some may overlook the significance of Fatimah’s role in establishing the foundations of religion and Islamic law. The traditions of the Prophet and his Household (peace be upon them) contain far more references to her pivotal role in this regard than one might assume. For this reason, the study is structured into two main chapters, each divided into two subsections, where we elaborate on the subtopics that fall under the central themes of the research.
